Maximum Acne Protocol
AdvancedA Ret Tretinoin Gel usp 0.1% is a strong retinoid option often used when lower strengths no longer give enough results. It is commonly chosen for ongoing acne, rough skin texture, and visible marks that need deeper skin renewal support. This formulation contains tretinoin, a vitamin A based compound that helps speed up how quickly the skin renews itself. As older layers shed faster, pores stay clearer, oil buildup reduces, and breakouts become less frequent. Over time, it also helps improve uneven tone and supports smoother looking skin. The gel texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly into the skin, making it a suitable option for oily and combination skin types. A Ret Tretinoin Gel 0.1% 20g by Menarini is often selected by users who have already used tretinoin gel 0.025% or tretinoin gel 0.05% and want stronger results.

Who is this for?
Adults with persistent acne, oily or combination skin types, users moving from 0.025% or 0.05% tretinoin, individuals with clogged pores or rough skin, people dealing with pigmentation or early ageing, and users looking for stronger retinoid results.
Start by washing your face with a mild cleanser and allow it to dry fully. Wait around 20 minutes before applying to reduce the chance of irritation. Take a small pea sized amount and spread a thin layer evenly over the skin. Apply only at night and avoid sensitive areas such as the eyes, lips, and sides of the nose. Begin with 2 to 3 applications per week, then slowly increase as your skin becomes comfortable with the treatment. Use a moisturiser after application if dryness appears. Daily sunscreen is essential, as this treatment makes the skin more sensitive to sunlight. Application routine — Week 1 to 2: apply twice weekly at night. Week 3 to 4: increase to three nights weekly if tolerated. Week 5 onward: use on alternate nights. Long term: apply nightly once skin adapts. Important Note: Always use it at night and apply sunscreen during the day.
How it works
Tretinoin 0.1% works by increasing how quickly the skin replaces old cells with new ones. This helps remove buildup inside pores, reduce oil, and prevent acne formation. At the same time, it supports collagen activity, which improves skin texture, tone, and overall appearance with continued use.
Tretinoin — 0.1%
Vitamin A derivative that supports rapid skin renewal and helps improve collagen activity.
